Who is Albert Lee?

 

Well, he is a legend! In the mid 1960’s a three- word line graffiti started cropping up all over London. “CLAPTON IS GOD”.

 

But there is a quote attributed to Eric Clapton that God worshipped another musician”. “Albert Lee is the greatest guitarist in the

world. He is the ultimate virtuoso. His skill is extraordinary, his ear is extraordinary and he’s gifted on just about every level”.

Born in England Albert’s career took off when he moved to the US. He performed with Buddy Holly toured with the Crickets, and the Everly Brothers. Later he formed his own band and toured the world playing in some of the largest concert halls. He is highly respected by fellow-

musicians and is often called upon to participate as a guest star in concerts.

He has toured with Eric Clapton and performed with Vince Gill, Cheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris to name a few. Albert, his keyboard player along with the rest of the band will keep you rocking. Just watch his hands gliding up and down the neck of his guitar.
